The SIQEV EVOO come from the best olives around the world
The QvExtra Association is made up of 33 producer partners who take care of the field as what it really is: an unequalled treasure. In this context, it is no wonder that their olive groves have the best equipments and professionals.
Such sublime oil as the Siqev requires experience, tradition and knowledge in the olive service, since not all olives are acceptable for being part of the production process.
Our product is made with just-picked, green olives from early harvest for a simple and important reason: this olives are the ones that provide the greatest benefits for our body.
The production process of a Siqev is strictly controlled from beginning to end.
However, it is not possible to get the best EVOO in the market only by an exhaustive selection of the olive. We also keep an eye on the time it takes the olives to arrive at the mill (always below 2 hours), the ideal moment of ripeness and even the milling temperature, never exceeding 24ºC, in order to not to lose the volatile compounds.
The association imposes these strict conditions in order to offer the consumer an outstanding EVOO.
The best packaging for the best oils.
Another fundamental difference has to do with the packaging. The Siqev oils are carefully filtered and preserved in cellars of inert deposits in order to protect the olive juice from deterioration. The oil for the consumer is packed in tins or glass bottles, never in plastic, in order to take maximum care of the conservation.

An SIQEV EVOO is more beneficial for the body
The SIQEV sealdoes not only guarantee the highiest quality, but also the presence of all necessary nutrients for the body to take advantage of it. Something far from non member brands.
The parameters that the Siqev seal demand are difficult to be achieved and they require an extra job from the producers. In fact, they are so distinctive that they are way above the general regulation.
Due to this QvExtra! demanding parameters, it is possible to get a higher quantity in polyphenols, above 200 ppm (above average), a higher content, above the 65%, in monounsaturated fatty acids and a demand in the fruit above 4. The objective is to make the SIQEV EVOOs reach the date of minimum durability with excelent quality values, something which does not happen with the rest Extra Virgin Olive Oils in the market.
In addition, (and in order to highlight our commitment), we make at least one control a year at origin and point of sale, everything carried out by an external laboratory (SGS) to the association.
The pursuit of excellence does not deserve less.
